Director Anthony Minghella died today from a hemorrhage after surgery for cancer. He directed such films as THE ENGLISH PATIENT (1996), THE TALENTED MR. RIPLEY (1999) and COLD MOUNTAIN (2003). It’s always sad to see a talented artist slip away. He was 54.
